Prostate Patient

Now is a good time to become more "Cancer Smart."  Who knows? It just might save your life or the life of a loved one.

A daunting statistic for men in the United States is that according to the National Cancer Society 1 out of every 6 of them will get prostate cancer.  But one very important, positive statistic for 2009 is that prostate cancer deaths have been declining over the past several years due mostly to early detection programs, and advances in treatment.

Here in the Northern California area the Alta Bates Summit Medical Center’s experienced, healthcare team is committed to keeping the declining trend of prostate cancer cases going in the right direction… down.

In the media player below, take a few minutes and meet some of the experienced healthcare team of Alta Bates Summit Medical Center.

Experience Matters

Alta Bates Summit Medical Center’s commitment to the community is to provide only the best in services.

At the heart of that commitment are doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals whose lives are dedicated to providing the highest quality treatment and care possible.
